I love live shows, and giving my opinion, and background music when I’m teaching yoga this is why, months ago, I requested this concert for review. The lyrics and melody blend together to create a sense of both urgency and unease, emphasizing the way the relationship has taken over the singer's life.I’m going to start by saying that I am not a fan of The Paper Kites. The singer is pulled in by the intensity of their partner's affection but also recognizes that it's not healthy or sustainable. Overall, "Heart Attack" captures the feeling of being in a relationship that is both exciting and dangerous. The chorus repeats, emphasizing the singer's sense of being swept up and controlled by their partner, while also acknowledging their own longing for the relationship to work out. The line "Spread roots wide in the back of my eyes and she never let it slow" suggests that while she put down roots in the singer's life and memories, she didn't let the relationship progress at a natural pace.
